Day 1: Arrival in Lima, Peru
Arrive in Lima, Peru's bustling capital. Spend the day at leisure, exploring the city’s historic center, its vibrant neighborhoods, and indulging in the renowned Peruvian cuisine.

Day 2: Fly to Cusco - Exploring Cusco’s Ancient Charm
After breakfast, fly to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire, where the Andes begin. Upon arrival, spend the day exploring Cusco’s colonial-era architecture, Sacsayhuamán, and the Qorikancha Temple. Acclimate to the high-altitude environment, as Cusco sits at 11,150 feet (3,400 meters).

Day 3: Sacred Valley Exploration
Pisac Ruins: Visit the iconic Pisac ruins, located high in the Andes, with panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.

Day 4: Begin the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Day 5: Inca Trail – Day 2
Today, you’ll hike through more challenging terrain as you ascend to higher altitudes. Stop at several fascinating Inca sites, including Wiñay Wayna, before reaching your campsite near the Sun Gate.

Day 6: Inca Trail – Day 3 & Machu Picchu
The final day of your trek will lead you to Machu Picchu before sunrise. Arriving early, you’ll get a first glimpse of the lost city of the Incas as the morning mist lifts to reveal this stunning wonder of the world. Explore the ruins with your guide and learn about the history, architecture, and culture of the Incas.
Train back to Aguas Calientes: After a full day of exploring Machu Picchu, take the train back to Aguas Calientes.

Day 7: Return to Cusco
Take the scenic train back to Cusco and relax after your Inca Trail adventure. Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore more of Cusco or visit nearby sites.

Day 9: Travel to Atacama Desert
Fly to the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on Earth, and explore its surreal landscapes, including the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), with its lunar-like terrain and towering sand dunes.
