ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá
Arrive in Bogotá, Colombia's bustling capital, nestled in the Andean highlands. After checking in to your hotel, take a leisurely evening stroll through La Candelaria, the historic heart of the city, filled with cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings, and art galleries.

Day 2: Explore Bogotá
Today, enjoy a full day exploring Bogotá’s top sights. Visit the Gold Museum, home to the largest collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, and the Botero Museum, showcasing works by Colombia’s famous artist Fernando Botero. Take a cable car or funicular ride up to Monserrate, a hilltop sanctuary with panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, an awe-inspiring underground cathedral carved into a salt mine.

Day 3: Bogotá to Armenia (Coffee Region)
This morning, fly to Armenia, the heart of Colombia’s Coffee Triangle. The lush, green mountains of this region are home to some of the world’s finest coffee. After arriving, take a tour of a coffee plantation where you’ll learn about the entire coffee-making process, from bean to cup. Enjoy a traditional coffee tasting and relax with a cup of freshly brewed Colombian coffee.

Day 4: Coffee Region Exploration
Today, immerse yourself in the beautiful landscapes of the Coffee Region. You’ll visit the stunning Cocora Valley, famous for its towering wax palms, Colombia’s national tree. Hike through the valley, surrounded by lush vegetation and misty mountains. In the afternoon, visit the charming town of Salento, known for its colorful architecture and artisanal shops.

Day 5: Armenia to Medellín
After breakfast, travel to Medellín, Colombia's second-largest city, known for its transformation from a city once plagued by violence to a thriving, innovative metropolis. Take a city tour that includes a visit to Comuna 13, a neighborhood that has been revitalized through street art and social projects. You’ll also ride the Metrocable for stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 6: Medellín to Cartagena
Fly to Cartagena, a colonial gem on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Explore the historic walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with colorful colonial buildings, vibrant plazas, and narrow cobblestone streets. Visit Castillo de San Felipe, a fortress built to defend the city from pirates, and enjoy a sunset walk along the City Walls.

Day 7: Cartagena Beach & Culture
Enjoy a leisurely day exploring Cartagena's cultural sights. Visit the Palacio de la Inquisición, a museum dedicated to the city’s colonial past, and stroll through the Getsemaní district, known for its colorful street art and lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, relax on the pristine beaches of Bocagrande or take a boat trip to the nearby Rosario Islands for a day of snorkeling and beach time.

Day 8: Cartagena – Free Day
Today, enjoy a free day to further explore Cartagena at your own pace. Visit local markets, shop for handicrafts, or indulge in a relaxing spa day. For an added adventure, take a boat trip to the Islas del Rosario, a stunning archipelago just off the coast, where you can snorkel, swim, or simply relax on the white-sand beaches.
